  • Dr. Krisztina Madách, Associate professor, Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy, Semmelweis University, Budapest

    Dr. Krisztina Madách is a specialist of anesthesiology and intensive therapy and also of emergency medicine. Having dedicated over 25 years to patient care, education, and research, she is currently serving as Associate Professor at Semmelweis University.

    She is involved in numerous scientific and professional societies:

    2024 – Present Member and Subforum Lead (2026-) of ESAIC Scientific Forum 3 – Organs, ‘Infection, Sepsis and Immunology’ group

    2024 – Present European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC) Council Member representing Hungary

    2019 – Present Member of Anaesthesiology Section and Board of Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes (UEMS), Education and Professional Development (EPD) Standing Committee

    2018 – 2023 Deputy Chair of the Examinations Subcommittee Part I, European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC) – during this period she played a major role in integrating EDAIC Part I into the Hungarian national curriculum

    2014 – Present Board Member of the Hungarian Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy (MAITT), Chair of the Education Committee
